Master Program
The Master Program is our in-person makeup program designed to prepare you for the ultimate success as a professional makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur. Enrolling into our Master Program means you will be enrolled into our entire semester, investing 144 hours into your education and artistry.
Online Course
For makeup artists looking to level up their skills from around the world, you no longer need to be held back by distance, budget, or a demanding schedule. The same AMA mindset, techniques, and business curriculum is finally available on your terms for only $297.

Armando Kole graduated AMA in 2018, being our youngest accepted student at 15 years old. SInce then, he has worked on celebrities such as Beyonce, Tina Knowles, Amaya Elizabeth, Lady Gaga, Cardi B, and many others.

Andrea Ventura graduated AMA in 2016. Since then, she has signed with a prestigious agency, The Only, and has worked on celebrities such as Coco Jones, Tems, Kelly Rowland, Doechi, Post Malone, and many others.

Dre Hidalgo graduated AMA in 2020 and is currently our Head of Education at AMA. Since graduating, she has worked on reality TV stars such as Chelsea Lazkani and Mia Alario as well as celebrities Cardi B and Hennessy Carolina.

How much is tuition?
Tuition for the Master Program starts at $10,400 with flexible payment plans available so you can start your journey without paying it all upfront. Upon enrolling, a $500 registration fee is due. If you prefer smaller monthly payments, we recommend enrolling a year in advance. By inquiring through our 'Contact Page', our Head of Admissions can provide you with information on payment options.
What do you receive upon graduating?
Upon completing the Master Program, you'll receive your AMA certification, which unlocks Pro Discounts of up to 40% off from various beauty brands. Some of the brands you can receive discounts from include Charlotte Tilbury, Rare Beauty, Make Up For Ever, MAC, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Alcone, Danessa Myricks, NYX and many more.
Additionally, you will receive access to our AMA Alumni Community Group where we inform students of opportunities, networking events, and more.
What does job placement look like?
AMA doesn't just teach you makeup artistry, we teach you how to build your own business around it. How we built AMA is how we teach you — all the lessons and no gatekeeping.
Our graduates go on to work in bridal, editorial, and the entertainment & celebrity world. You'll join an active alumni community that continues to open doors long after graduation. Typical opportunities can look like shadowing, assisting, or joining a freelancer team.
As far as AMA staff goes, every staff member is hired from within. We post job opportunities as soon as they are available — for the academy as well as AMA Weddings.
We never like to promise job placement as it is truly dependent on you — how you show up, your artist etiquette, your professionalism, and your work ethic.
